How Doctor On Demand works

1. Create your account.

Create your account on the website or in the app. It’s free, there is no obligation or membership, and you don’t need to enter a credit card. Follow the prompts to enter your health insurance or employer to see if your visit is covered. However, insurance is not necessary.

2. See the next available provider, or schedule your appointment.

Select the reason for your visit and answer a few questions to provide the doctor with some context. See a doctor in minutes or schedule your therapy or psychiatry visit. You must be signed in to your account either on the app (phone) or through our website (computer) to visit with a provider.

3. Start your virtual doctor visit.

Meet with one of our board-certified doctors, nurse practitioners, or clinician who will diagnose your symptoms and offer a custom treatment plan. If needed, you can get prescriptions sent to your local pharmacy.

How much is Doctor On Demand without insurance?

Doctor On Demand is available to everyone, which means you do not need any insurance to take a medical or mental health virtual visit. For people without medical insurance, the price for a medical visit is $99 for a 15 minute consultation. An online therapy visit with a psychologist starts at $134 for a 25 minute consultation and an online psychiatry visits start at $299 for an initial 45 minute consultation.

Doctor On Demand physicians and clinicians are able to treat urgent and everyday care (non-emergency) conditions such as upper respiratory infections (cold, flu, covid, sinus, etc.), allergies, yeast infections, UTI’s, rashes, sports injuries, nausea, diarrhea, heartburn, back pain and much more. We can also provide travel medicine, work and school notes, and refill prescriptions.

Psychologists and psychiatrists treat stress, anxiety, relationship issues, depression, changes in mood, alcohol and tobacco addictions, and eating disorders. Psychiatrists can also manage prescription refills,  a psychiatric evaluation, or even an initial diagnosis.

It’s free to sign up for a Doctor On Demand by Included Health account, and there’s no membership fee. You pay on a by-visit basis when you talk to a board-certified clinician. If paying with your insurance/employer benefits, the cost will vary depending on your benefits, and in many cases will be $0. It is important to enter your insurance and employer information when you register for your account.
